Meet Ann…
Ann and her husband, Chad, are raising their two living children in Abilene. Their middle child, Eleanor, was stillborn at 36 weeks and 4 days in October 2021. Since Eleanor’s death, Ann has devoted time to stillbirth awareness and prevention. Her and her family have also partnered with the Rhett Sullivan Foundation to provide Love and Comfort bags to the hospital for other loss families in Abilene. Ann’s oldest daughter was born 9 weeks early due to HELLP syndrome and her son was born 6 weeks early. Both of her living children spent time in the NICU. Ann hopes to bring support to other families experiencing birth and pregnancy complications, NICU stays, and pregnancy/infant loss.
Professionally, Ann is a certified genetic counselor specializing in cancer genetics. She attended Texas Tech University for undergrad and the UT Health Science Center in Houston/MD Anderson for graduate school. She is a lifelong Texan and enjoys cross-stitching in her spare time.
