Meet Alaina…
Alaina and her husband, Zach, were both born and raised in the Big Country and met while attending college. They call Abilene home as they raise their two daughters, Elsie and Della. Their first daughter, Elsie, was born prematurely and spent time in the NICU, an experience that led to a season of postpartum anxiety and deepened Alaina’s understanding of the challenges many mothers face after difficult births. Their second daughter, Della, was born in 2025 after a pregnancy marked by both joy and healing.
Between their births, Alaina walked through the loss of an ectopic pregnancy that required emergency surgery and the removal of one of her ruptured fallopian tubes. That season of grief and uncertainty, alongside the emotions that followed Elsie’s early arrival, has shaped her passion for supporting women through loss, infertility, and the many layers of pregnancy and motherhood. She is grateful for how God has used her story to bring connection and purpose through the Perinatal CARE Foundation, where she serves as the Public Relations Director on the Board.
Professionally, Alaina works part-time as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing teletherapy services for schools. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Abilene Christian University.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, dabbling with sourdough baked goods, and hand embroidery.
